Friday I went to Archiver’s  to get a couple samples of silver cardstock for my invitations. The sales lady asked for my phone number as I signed up for their mailing list to get coupons and such. She asked if my area code was from Minneapolis. My response was, “Umm, yes that was a good guess.” She answered with, “Well, I’m pretty familiar with area codes, plus your voice was a dead giveaway.”

Oh come on, I DO NOT HAVE AN ACCENT. I sound just like Idahoans. I do not say Minnesooooota! I say Minnesota the exact same way they do.
