Thursday and Friday were very productive days for my wedding planning as I took vacation days! We decided on our songs for the ceremony, the wording for the invitations, and the centerpieces for the tables. I also decided how I will wear my hair and paid for the rest of my dress. (Well my mom really paid for the majority of the dress).
Saturday I met with a florist so I know exactly what I want when I talk to my florist in MN. I spent so much of my time off looking for shoes. White, strappy sandals, easy to find right? Wrong. I went to every store in the mall that carried dress shoes. I also went to 3 bridal stores. I found a pair I liked, but nearly fainted at the price. $90 for shoes to wear for 2 hours? I don’t think so. I began my search on-line. Nothing was jumping out at me. My parents and sister even started looking for me at stores in Oklahoma. They came up empty handed as well. Today when we went to the mall for my b-day gift, we entered at the shoe department at Dillard’s as usual. They were having a 50-75% off sale on shoes. I found shoes! YAY! They were the 3rd white pair we looked at and they were only $22!! Awesome!
Side bar-I love the swiffer wet jet. My parents sent me a gift card for my birthday and I bought real exciting things with it- swiffer wet jet, cat litter, laundry soap, dish soap, and air freshener. Anyway, the swiffer wet jet is my favorite cleaning tool now. I so recommend one!

Oh dear. I bought my wedding shoes at Dillard’s…
Well I don’t want to scare you, but before you wear them for the wedding just make sure they’re real real real real comfortable. I wound up spending the night in my sneakers
