The girls and I headed to the salon. I got a mani and a pedi and just absolutely love getting pampered! The other girls loved it too. Jesse’s family headed back home and the remaining girls and I headed to dinner.

At dinner, the girls decorated me with fun bachelorette attire. I had a shot glass necklace, a purple tiara, a bachelorette sash, an enormous flashing ring, and a flashing button. Dinner was nice and we played our first game- Who Knows the Bachelorette the Best. One of my sisters won with 10 out of 15 correct. (Later I gave the quiz to Jesse and he got 2 and a half wrong).  

After dinner we headed to my friend’s house to play a few more games and open gifts. I won’t go into detail on the gifts- it’s a bachelorette party- I’m sure you can guess what I got

We went to a bar/restaurant after the games and I was home to my sister’s by 2:00. Amazingly, I was up at 4:30 to get ready to go to the airport.

At the Minneapolis airport, I got searched. I had the special search symbols on my boarding pass. I got patted down by a female agent. A male agent went through all of my belongings- he took out everything in my purse and carry-on bag. He wiped everything down. I looked like a wreck. I was still wearing my make-up from the night before.

Me: So, was I randomly selected to get searched?
Security agent: Yeah, the airline picked you. Did you book your flight at the last minute? Pay with cash?
Me: No, but I did change my flight on the way out here.
SA: That’ll do it. You don’t look like a terrorist or anything.
Me: Well, I know I look awful. I had my bachelorette party last night and only got 2 hours of sleep.

He just smiled and nodded.

I slept for most of my flight to Denver. I got to Boise in time to meet Jesse for the Vikings game.

I really don’t know how I got anything done that weekend. I packed so many things into it. It was a great weekend though and it was so good to see my family and friends, even if it was only for a couple hours!
