We had a good Thanksgiving. We went to one of Jesse’s co-workers house for dinner. They have 4 kids and I offered to bring something or come early and help his wife cook, but she didn’t need anything. We ended up bringing a bottle of wine. It was a relaxing day and I must say, it’s pretty nice not having to make anything for such a large meal.

We rented a movie that evening- “Tropic Thunder”. I wouldn’t bother seeing it if I were you. It had a few funny parts, but overall we thought it was stupid.

Shopping on Black Friday is not something I do. I’ve done it once so I’ve gotten the experience and now I’m good. I met a couple of the ladies from church for lunch for a mini bridal shower.

Jesse wanted to go to the mall to see if there were any good sales. We got a couple things at American Eagle. They had all their tops buy one get one half off. They also had scratch offs for an additional percentage off your purchase. We both needed clothes. Jesse got a pair of jeans and a hoodie and I got a v-neck sweater. Pretty good deals there.

I also ended up getting a Vikings jersey. Most of the Vikings games are not on regular television channels out here, so in order to watch the game we need to go somewhere with the NFL sports package. There’s a sports bar really close to my house that has a whole room dedicated to Vikings fans that always has the game. We go there every game and I’m the only “regular” without any Vikings gear on. Tomorrow I’ll fit in now for the game. The Vikings fans go all out for the games. I’ll put up pictures tomorrow.
