As I mentioned in my Thanksgiving weekend post, Jesse and I go to a sports bar near my house for every Vikings game. There is a banquet room reserved every game for only Vikings fans. The fans have tons of Vikings memorabilia and basically put up a shrine every game. Most of the fans wear Vikings jerseys- now including me! The fans even have Vikings hats with horns that they wear when we’re on defense. They burn incense also in these little Viking figurines. It’s just truly an experience you have to see for yourself. Here are a few pictures of the shrine:

When the Vikings get a first down we all yell, “And it’s another Vikings….first down.” As if we are at the game and when the Vikings score a touch down, we sing the fight song. We didn’t know it so we’ve only sang it last week after we picked up on most of the words.

Skol Vikings, let’s win this game,

Then get a touchdown.
