for not blogging in forever! I have so much to blog about too!

Ok, so the reason for my absence is that I’ve been working! YAY! Finally!! I got a call from a temp agency about 3 weeks ago asking if I would do some work for a company mostly in excel. The pay wasn’t good, but it was more than unemployment so I agreed. On Friday, the company officially offered me a full-time position. I agreed to it contingent on an increase in the salary they offered. They offered me a little less than what I started out at right out of college. My head was screaming, “Are you kidding me? That’s what you’re offering someone with a degree and four years of experience?!?” I told them what I would like for a salary and they are going to discuss it with their upper management so we’ll see.

Jesse and I are also thinking of buying a house out here. We were excited when we found out the company was going to offer me a full-time job and I don’t want to leave the job after only a year. It’s stupid for us to keep renting. We have a Realtor and have seen several houses. There are a couple that we really like. I haven’t spoke with a lender yet cause we’re waiting to find out about my salary.

I got a new phone. It’s a touchscreen and has internet and all that so I’m hi-tech now.

So on last weeks Idol, I was glad to see Megan go. I like her folksy voice, but her performances were weird and boring. Plus when she acted all crazy at the results show, I felt justified in wanting her to go.
